Hazel Marie Bean

Hazel Marie Bean, age 83, of Pea Ridge passed away on July 12, 2013, in Centerton. She was born Jan. 21, 1930, in Rogers, Ark., to the late Manual and Hattie McCombs Cotton. She is survived by three sons, James "Heavy" Reeves and his wife Ellen of Pea Ridge, Ark., Terry Reeves and his wife Peggy of Garfield, Ark., Joel Reeves and his wife Kathy of Pea Ridge, Ark.; one daughter, Debra Hickman and her husband Eddie of Rogers, Ark.; one brother, George Cotton of McAlester, Okla.; three sisters, Margie Johnson and her husband Alva Lee of Pea Ridge, Barbara Roberts of Pierce City, Mo., Jessie Starnes of Exeter, Mo., three sisters-in-law, Reba Ford and her husband Dave of Rogers, Ark., Maxine Cotton of Rogers, Ark., Gertrude Cotton of Rogers, Ark.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her loving cat and dog. Hazel was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lavern Bean; three brothers, Charlie Cotton, Ted Cotton and Lazern (who died at birth); one sister, Grace Pace all of Rogers, Ark. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 16 at 11 a.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 until 11. Gary Blackburn will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Ruddick Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathan Reeves, John Reeves, Bill Cotton, Charlie Cotton, Ricky Pace, Junior Brown and Bonnie Morgan.
