Georgia Wisner Sherrill, 45, of Rogers, Ark., left this world on July 3, 2013, at MD Anderson Medical Center in Houston, Texas, after a valiant and courageous battle with breast cancer. Georgia was a friend to many and was lovingly referred to as "Geo." Georgia was born at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, on March 28, 1968. She grew up in Kensett, Ark., where she was a gifted athlete and member of the North Pulaski High School Class of 1986. On May 25, 1988, she married her high school sweetheart, the love of her life, Robert Sherrill, whom she affectionately called "her rock." She played basketball at the University of Central Arkansas and Texas Wesleyan University, where she graduated in 1990. While in college, Georgia began working for Sam's Club as a cashier. Her Walmart career would span 25 years and end with her most recent promotion in April of this year to Sr. Director of Global Integrated Processes. She was committed to her professional development and in 2009 completed a Master's Degree at Webster University, graduating with High Honors and was selected as Outstanding Student. Georgia was a devoted mother to her three girls: Emily (16), Madison (14) and Rachel Grace (8). Together with Robert they enjoyed camping, four wheeling, beach vacations, attending school and sports activities, and were avid NASCAR fans (Go #24!). She loved traveling, shopping, and spending time with her friends. Georgia is survived by her husband, Robert, of the home and her three amazing girls, Emily, Madison, and Rachel Grace; father Ben Wisner and his loving partner Ann Skinner of Cabot, Ark.; mother, Stella Bird Wisner of Columbia, S.C.; younger brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Marsha Wisner of Greenwood, Ark.; beloved nieces and nephews, Abigail, Molly, Nicole, Lucas, and Jesse.
