Patsy Ann Mozden, 66, of Lincoln went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2013, in her home after a long battle with COPD. She was born April 4, 1947, in Russellville to Donald D. and Helen A. (Strickland) Salmi. She grew up in Big Bear Lake, Calif., and spent many days camping with her family in the desert. She married the love of her life, Frank Mozden on Dec. 19, 1964, in Big Bear Lake, Calif. They moved back to Summers, Ark., in 1976 and eventually into Lincoln, Ark., in 1979. She was a stay-at-home mom and wife. She was there for many kids and claimed them as her own. She loved everyone & was always willing to give advice. You always knew there would be a fresh pot of coffee and someone to tell you like it is, regardless of whether or not you wanted to hear it! She was survived by husband, Frank F. Mozden Jr.; children, David and Roxanne Mozden of North Pole, Alaska, Richard and Meranda Mozden of Gentry, Ark., Robert and Kim Mozden of Springdale, Ark., Tammie and Justin Cavness of Bella Vista, Ark., Billy and Michelle Cochran of Lincoln, Ark.; one brother, Art and Elaine Salmi of Vernon, Ariz.; one sister-in-law, Caroline Salmi of Green Bay, Wis. She had 10 grandkids, Mathieu, Sheyenne, Devin, Haley, Cody, Bryant, Jadon, Jacelyn, Shyla and Makayla. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald D. Salmi; mother, Helen A. Carey; and brother, Johnny Salmi. A special thank you goes out to Washington Regional Hospice, and more importantly to Eugenia Baumgardner, for the wonderful care and support they have given Patsy and her family during the past few months. At her request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home. Online guest book: www.luginbuel.com.
