Charlene Yvonne Gooch

Charlene Yvonne Gooch, 83, of Farmington passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Springdale Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on May 17, 1930, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Jesse and Mabel Wall. She was a graduate of Newport Harbor High School in Newport Beach, Calif. She was a homemaker all her life and enjoyed spending time with her husband of 38 and one-half years and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; two half-brothers, Harry and Roger Fortune; and half-sister, Doris Walsh. Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Latham of Springdale and Sue Wentworth of Prairie Grove; brother, Darrell Wall of Huntington Beach, Calif.; granddaughters, Christine Wright and husband, Andrew of Prairie Grove and Jeanette Latham of Springdale; and great-granddaughters, Savannah and Abigail. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, at the Fayetteville National Cemetery with Chaplain Audie Long officiating.
