Billy Dee Coffman

Billy Dee Coffman 83, of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born on Aug. 29, 1929, in White Deer, Texas, to DeWitt Carradine and Gracie Jewel Coffman. He graduated Sabine High School in Kilgore, Texas, in 1949. He joined the United States Air Force in 1950. In 1953 he was honorably discharged as Airman first class. He attended Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas, and Kilgore Junior College in Kilgore, Texas. He was a member of the White River Fellowship in Elkins. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mozelle Heath and Wanda Hurst; two brothers, Lloyd Coffman and Jerald Coffman. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Wilma Faye Coffman of the home; son, Billy Carl and wife Kathleen Coffman of Lake Cypress Springs,Texas; daughter, Phyllis Elaine Neal and husband Steve of Hazel Valley; grandchildren, Reese Joshua Neal and wife Brianna of Gilbert, Ariz., Christopher Craig Coffman and wife Crystal of Trenton, Texas, Jesyka Erin Farley and husband David of Siloam Springs and Danielle Nichole Coffman of Allen, Texas; great-grandchildren, Taylor Nicole Coffman, Brynn Nayeli Neal, Chase Cooper and Christian Harrell; sister, Jerry Ann Madden of Wichita Falls, Texas, and several other Family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2013, at the funeral home. A funeral service will held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Beard's Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Audie Long officiating.
