Earl Lee Ford

Earl Lee Ford, 49, of Rogers, Ark., died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark. He was born Jan. 20, 1964, in Gravette, Ark., the son of Linda Louvean Hicks and Coy Lee Ford. He enjoyed four-wheeling in his jeep, riding his motorcycle, working on and rebuilding old cars. He was a mechanic for several years with Springdale Dodge. He enjoyed fishing when he had spare time. He was a lifetime resident of Northwest Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. Earl is survived by his mother, Linda Hicks of Springdale, Ark.; one son, Calvin James Ford of Fayetteville, Ark.; one brother, Ricky Eugene Ford and his wife, Sabrina, of Springdale, Ark.; three sisters, LouAnn Richardson and her husband, Jimmy, of Rogers, Ark., Lottie Eisenhart and her husband, Perry, of Fayetteville, Ark., Melinda Myers and her husband, Jimmy, of Springdale, Ark.; one granddaughter, Emma Grace Ford; numerous cousins; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 4-6 p.m. at Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville. Funeral service will be Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at First Church of the Nazarene in Fayetteville, Ark., with Pastor Larry Woodward officiating. Interment will take place at Omaha Methodist Cemetery in Omaha, Ark., at 3:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Bobby Shown, John Long, J.D. Evans, Timmy Evans, David Gilly and Justin Eisenhart. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Richardson, Perry Eisenhart, Jimmy Myers, Afton Judkins, Todd Woods and Ricky Ford. Memorials may be sent to The American Heart Association to the local Arkansas Chapter. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.eptingfuneralhome.webs.com. The family would like to extend an expression of thanks to the Baptist Health Medical Staff, to the Heart Transplant Group especially Dr. Hutchens, Lola and the entire staff.
