Tommy Lane Cate

Tommy Lane Cate of Omaha, Ark., passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 23, 2013, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Cancer Institute in Little Rock. He was born Nov. 6, 1944, in Fayetteville, the son of Paul D. and Alma Cate. He was preceded in death by his father. He was a graduate of Greenland High School and spent most of his work career in auto and motorcycle parts. He was a Christian and member of First Baptist Church of Omaha. He is survived by his wife, Inette Cate, of the home; two daughters and their husbands, Paula and Eric Lasner and Ellen and Brad Matlock; two grandchildren, Garrett and Peyton Matlock; his mother, Alma Cate of Greenland; brother, David Cate of Jackson, Miss.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Omaha First Baptist Church, officiated by Gene France. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Omaha First Baptist Youth Fund or UAMS.
