Linda Ellen Skellenger

Linda Ellen Skellenger, 66, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at her home in Bella Vista. She was born on Aug. 20, 1946, in Morris Township, N.J. She was raised and educated in New Jersey. Linda married Fred Skellenger on Dec. 31, 1972, in Florida. She was employed in Independence, Mo.; Kansas City, Mo.; and later at Nashville, Tenn. They moved to Bella Vista, Ark., in September 2009. She enjoyed cooking and music. She is survived by her husband, Fred Skellenger of Bella Vista, Ark.; one son, Fred Skellenger and wife, Kathy, of Ashville, N.C.; two daughters, Marianne Peppers of Blue Springs, Mo., Penny Whittier and husband, Pete, of Abilene, Texas; one brother, Frank Ryan of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; one sister, Ann Christopher of Kansas City, Mo.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.
