Laurel Crumrine

Laurel Crumrine, 90, of Bella Vista died on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013. Laurel was born Aug. 3, 1922, in Benton, Ill., to Marion and Stella Rice. She was married to Kenneth Crumrine in 1946 and they shared 66 years together. Laurel and Ken raised three children, Kenneth Jr., Nancy and Steven. Laurel was a homemaker dedicated to her family, enjoyed her church and was well-known for her great cooking, especially her homemade pies. She was active in many Bridge groups and Republican clubs. She served as president of Republican Women's Club of University Park, Md. She is preceded in death by her parents and six siblings. She will truly be missed by her husband, Ken Crumrine of the home; daughter, Nancy Klimczak and husband, Gene, of Bella Vista, Ark.; sons, Ken Crumrine Jr. and wife, Sandy, and Steven Crumrine and wife, Susan, of Wilmington, N.C.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. All who knew Laurel will cherish their memories of this fine lady. We will miss her smile, her cute laugh and continue to be inspired by her joy in living. A memorial service will be at the Bella Vista Family Church of the Nazarene on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
