Karen Mae Schneider

Karen Mae Schneider, 65, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County. She was born on Nov. 7, 1947, in Exeter, Calif., to Jesse Young and Oraletta Bingaman Young. She was a registered nurse, and briefly served as registrar and taught home economics while serving with her husband at a Mission school in Holbrook, Ariz. She moved to Bella Vista seven years ago from Arizona. She loved sewing, cooking, and being with her children and new grandchild. She was a member of the Rogers Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, C. Eugene Schneider of Bella Vista, Ark.; two daughters, Kristin Stuart and husband, Landon, of Fayetteville, Ark., Ashley Nava and husband, Christopher, of Fayetteville, N.C.; uncle and aunt, Dewayne and Carol Bingaman; cousin, Lela Rigdon; and one grandchild, Aiden Christopher Nava. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at the Rogers Seventh-day Adventist Church.
