Wiley V. Hegi

Wiley V. Hegi, 87, a resident of Prairie Grove went to be with his Lord on Jan. 14, 2013. He was born Dec. 19, 1925, in Vilonia, Ark., the son of Johnny and Mamie Wharton Hegi. Wiley was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prairie Grove. He served in the United States Army, where he was involved in the Battle of the Bulge. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Janice. Survivors include his brother, Gene Hegi of Hixon, Tenn., and his sister, Wanda Harper of Prairie Grove. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Luginbuel Chapel.
