Austin Matthew Davis

Austin Matthew Davis, 25, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at his home. He was born April 18, 1987, in Springfield, Mo., to Matthew Erwin and Ramona Gayle Clegg Davis. Austin was a huge Razorback Fan, and enjoyed time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford Clegg, Betty Clegg and Tom Davis. He is survived by his mother, Gayle Gillilan and husband, William, of Fort Smith; his father, Matt Davis and partner, Dan Vinson, of Springdale; two brothers, Andrew Davis of Fayetteville, Anthony Davis and wife, Krysta, of Prairie Grove, and their daughter, Addison; grandparents, Carolyn Clegg of Fort Smith, Rosalie and Bill Gray of Purdy, Mo.; two stepsisters, Sandra Gillilan and Amanda White; and many dear aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Central United Methodist Church in Rogers, with the Rev. Carness Vaughan officiating. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery in Monett, Mo., with the Rev. Lee Neill officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Ministry Fund in care of Central United Methodist Church, 2535 W. New Hope Road, Rogers, AR 72758.
