Mariana Bly, 83, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Jan. 7, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Ark. Born Nov. 22, 1929, in Allen, Texas, she was the daughter of Garnet Howlett and Alice Carroll Howlett.
She retired as a travel auditor for the University of Arkansas, after 25-plus years of service. Mariana was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Bly in March 2007; and one great-granddaughter, Madison.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Harris and husband, Alan of Lowell, Ark., and Laura Hudgens and husband, Dana of Siloam Springs; two sons, David Bly and wife, Barbara of Tulsa, Okla., and Jackie Bly and wife, Diane of Verdigris, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jean Thomas of Hope, Ark., and Nancy Byler of Allen, Texas.
Funeral services will be 12 noon, Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Mr. Larry Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Wasson Funeral Home.
