Janice W. Nichols

Janice W. Nichols, 66, of Rogers, Ark., died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. She was born Sept. 19, 1946, in Elizabeth, N.J., to William Henry Stanley and Janice Winifred Gaskill. She graduated from Phillipsburg Catholic High School in Phillipsburg, N.J., and moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1989 and attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers. She worked as a court clerk for the Bentonville District Court for 23 years before retiring so she could travel and visit dear friends. Janice loved her family and children most of all and really enjoyed spending time with her two grandsons and her wonderful great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents. Janice is survived by two children, Catherine Bridget De Estrada, and husband, Alberto, of Rogers, William Stanley Nichols, and wife, Nichole, of Edmond, Okla.; two brothers, William Stanley, and wife, Ronnie, of Pine Knoll Shores, N.C., Jack Stanley, and wife, Carol, of Asbury, N.J.; two grandsons, Stanley Willis Clark, and wife, Melissa, Johnathan Stanley Clark; and one great-grandson, Ryan Willis Cooper; and many special friends. A memorial visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers. She will be laid to rest in Ireland.
