Donald E. Kyger, 77, of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Concordia Health Care in Bella Vista. He was born on Aug. 15, 1935, in Diamond, Mo., to Edward Kyger and Fern Fullerton Kyger. He was service manager for MIT (Missouri-Illinois Tractor). Upon retirement, he and his wife relocated to Bella Vista, Ark. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Naman, Herald and J.B. Kyger. He is survived by his wife, Ruth N. Kyger of Raytown, Mo.; one son, Doug Kyger of Springfield, Mo.; two daughters, Pam Doke and husband, Gary, of Diamond, Mo., Rhonda Peacock of Joplin, Mo.; one stepson, Joseph Krizek and wife, Lynne, of Fairbanks, Alaska; two stepdaughters, Diane Krizek and husband, Gene, of Raytown, Mo., Vickie Thompson of Belton, Mo.; four brothers, Robert Kyger and wife, Jean, of Granby, Mo., John Kyger and wife, Diane, of Carthage, Mo., Gary Kyger and wife, Linda, of Joplin, Mo., Louie Kyger and wife, Nelda, of North Carolina; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, with the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, 501 W. Market St., Diamond, Mo. Burial will follow the service at the Diamond Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
