Pauline Gladys Anderson

Pauline Gladys Anderson, age 88, of Rogers, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Ashley Health & Rehab in Rogers. She was born in East Weymouth, Mass., on Jan. 10, 1925, to the late Benjamin and Gladys (Coslovan) Lynch. Pauline was a homemaker but later volunteered in the gift shop at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. She was a foster parent and military wife, and enjoyed playing cards and dominoes. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies' Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vernon Clarence Anderson; son, Alan Doyle; and brother, Lawrence Lynch. Survivors include her daughter, Judy Patterson and husband Lester of Rogers; sister, Edith Doyle of Carmichael, Calif.; and grandchildren Melissa, Matthew and Melianie Spear. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Burial in Fayetteville National Cemetery will be private.
