Loyd Samuel Brown

Loyd Samuel Brown, 78, of Cave Springs, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at his home. He was born April 22, 1934, in Lowell, Ark., to Lonnie and Vivian Aaron Brown. Loyd was a Hatchery Manager for Arbor Acres Farms. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cave Springs. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Cory Stamps. Survivors include his wife, Gayla Brown of the home; one son, Rick Brown and wife, Cindy, of Cave Springs; one daughter, Mitzi Yates and husband, Sam, of Rogers; two sisters, Reta Remington and husband, John, of Lowell and Erma Stewart of Conway; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Rev. Dan Fagala officiating. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery.
