Helen E. Roberts

Helen E. Roberts, 96, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice, Legacy Village, Bentonville, Ark. She was born Aug. 11, 1916, in Hobart, Okla., to Walter William Turnbull and Mae Gladson Turnbull. She was a master teacher, writer of art books and was involved with Nat'l Society of Tole and Decorative Painters for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.V. Roberts; three brothers and one sister. Survivors include four daughters, C. Diane Chapman (Ernie) of Dallas, Texas., S. Jane Roberts of Charlotte, N.C., Nancy J. Roberts of Atlanta, Ga., Marsha L. Roberts of Allen, Texas; and one brother, Charles E. Turnbull of Midwest City, Okla. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark., with Pastor Jeff Reed officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills, Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
