Blake Edwin Walker

Blake Edwin Walker left this earth Friday, Feb. 15, after a long battle with mental illness. He was born May 5, 1983, in Bethesda, Md., to Henry and Wendy Walker. Blake was an avid motorcyclist, who, though losing a foot in a cycle accident, returned to the road immediately for the freedom his bike provided him. He had an amazing personality that touched many with his spirit of adventure, sense of humor and hard work. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Henry and Wendy Walker, both of Fayetteville, Ark.; his grandmother, Faylelyn Wohlrabe of Morris, Minn.; one brother, Chad Walker and wife, Shannon Walker, of Glen Burnie, Md.; one sister, Liesl Kraft of Fayetteville, Ark.; three nieces, Kelsey Walker and Morgan Ray-Vottero, both of Glen Burnie, Md., and Gabriella Kraft of Fayetteville, Ark. It appears by God's grace that many of his organs will be placed with those in need of such life giving transplants. Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 18, 2013, at Covenant Presbyterian Church on Wedington Drive in Fayetteville. Online condolences: www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
