Ricky Amherst Anderson

Ricky Amherst Anderson was born in Joplin, Mo., to Doris Dean (Graue) and James Anderson on Nov. 13, 1946. He lived most of his life in Springdale and Fayetteville; he died in Springdale on Feb. 10, 2013, at the age of 66. He is survived by his brother, Rodney Michael Anderson of Bentonville, as well as many other family members and good friends. Rick lived in and attended school in Texas through his early teens. When he moved to Arkansas, Rick was nicknamed "Tex" by his friends. He graduated from Springdale High School in 1966, and he attended the University of Arkansas. He was a talented builder and carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and camping with friends and family. Rick was an avid collector of many things, and he enjoyed sharing his interests with others.
