Velda Jean Faulkner

Velda Jean Faulkner, 76, of Elkins, Ark., died Feb. 2, 2013, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born June 18, 1936, at Thorney, Ark., the daughter of Ray George and Dellie Lucille Gardner King. She was retired from Baldwin Piano with 40 years of service. Survivors include her husband, Bill Faulkner of the home; one son, Danny Gurley of Elkins, Ark.; one daughter, Theresa Baker of Fayetteville, Ark.; three brothers, Arnold King of Fayetteville, Ark., Arvil King of Farmington, Ark., and Jerry King of Elkins, Ark.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Samuels officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery in Elkins under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net. Pallbearers will be Steve King, Chris King, David King, Darren King, Kenny King, Kevin King and Jared King. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Reagan and Doug Williams. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
