Alice J Partain

Alice J. Partain, age 88, of Bella Vista passed away on Feb. 1, 2013, at Highlands Health Care in Bella Vista. She was born June 27, 1924, in Fontana, Calif. She remained in California with husband, Arther Partain, until 1969 and then moved to Stigler, Okla. In 1995, both Alice and her husband moved back to California. Her husband died in 2001 and her son, Don, died in 2003. In 2004, Alice moved to Bella Vista, Ark., where she remained until her death. Survivors include her sons, Tom Partain of Bloomington, Calif., and Marshall Partain of Bella Vista; one daughter, Edith McCoy of Highland, Calif.; one sister, Virginia Younker of northern California; and brother, Aaron Younker of Ogden, Utah. She has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A visitation and funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, in Bloomington, Calif., at Green Acres Funeral Home 11715 Cedar Ave., Bloomington, CA 92316.
