Cornelius James O'Donnell Jr., 89, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013. He was born in Kansas City, Mo., to Cornelius James Sr. and Mary Zmek O'Donnell. He worked for the Chevrolet division of General Motors for 39 years. In that time, he traveled frequently and befriended many. He retired to Fayetteville, Ark., where he and his wife volunteered for Washington Regional Memorial Hospital for 10 years. Throughout his life, whether working or retired, he was known as a witty Irishman, always ready with a story or a joke to lighten hearts and brighten smiles. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and niece. C.J. is survived by his wife, Pauline; and three daughters, Cathleen Klippert and her husband, Tim, of Chicago, Ill., Patricia Curtis and her husband, Duane, of Kansas City, Mo., and Jude Roth and her husband, Don, of Overland Park, Kan.; and Don's son, Michael Roth. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Memorial mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Saint Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale.
