Helen Berniece Sweet

Helen Berniece Sweet, 99, of Springdale passed away Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born Oct. 21, 1914, in Fremont, Neb., to Fredrick Harrison and Lula Mae Phillippi Danner. Helen owned and operated Sweets Fudge Kitchen for many years. She was a member of Cross Church Springdale where she was active in many activities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Sweet. Survivors include three sons, Don E. Sweet and wife, Toni, of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and Jerry E. Sweet, wife Barbara, of Victor, Idaho, and Richard H. Sweet of Wellington, Nev.; one daughter, Gloria Foster and husband, Charlie, of Springdale; nine grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. A memorial service will be Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Cross Church Springdale. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
