Edmund Gerald Ford

Edmund Gerald Ford, 66, of Combs, Ark., died Dec. 23, 2013, at his home. He was born Dec. 24, 1946, at Russellville, Ark., the son of Jerome and Erma Nell Gardner Ford. He had been a plumber for over forty years and had served for six years in the United States Army Reserve. He was a member of the Huntsville Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Brenda McDaniel Ford of the home; one son, Gerald Wayne Ford of Rogers, Ark.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Terresa Kaye and Brett Brown of Amarillo, Texas, and Delores Renee Ford of Bartlesville, Okla.; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, CL and Wanda Ford and Gary Ford, all of Dover, Ark., and Billy and Carolyn Ford of Clinton, Ark.; one sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and J. R. Bailey of Dover, Ark.; fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at the Huntsville Missionary Baptist Church with The Rev. Bud Pulley officiating. Interment will be in the Patrick Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be: Gerald Ford, Brett Brown, Chris Higgs, Tracy Bailey, Paul Ferguson and Albert Brintan. Honorary pallbearers will be: Kristopher Acker and David Stark. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Friday at Brashears.
