George Harley Fredrick Comer, 77, of Fayetteville, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at his home. He was born Dec. 1, 1936, in Fayetteville, the son of Thelma Boyd and Claude Comer. He enjoyed coon-hunting and working with rocks. He was a lifetime resident of the Northwest Arkansas. He enjoyed gardening, especially growing his tomatoes. He was an active Jehovah's Witness. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister. George is survived by: his wife, Sue Ellen Comer, of the home, whom he married Dec. 27, 1999; three sons, Clint Huston and his wife, Tina, of Farmington, Rod Huston and his wife, Raylene, of Idaho, David Huston and his wife, Cassandra, of Fayetteville; four daughters, Rickie Hudson and her husband, Steve, of Fayetteville, Claudia Comer of Conway, Donna Comer and Dixie Crow of Fayetteville, Dottie Fritch and her husband, LeRoy, of Farmington; one brother, Roscoe Comer, of Idaho; one sister, Cora Lee Shoemaker and her husband, Wayne, of Fayetteville; numerous grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall, located at 2837 N. Old Wire Road in Fayetteville. Memorials may be sent to: The Kingdom Hall of Fayetteville.
