Homer A. Brady

Homer A. Brady died on Dec. 17, 2013, in Bentonville. He was born on July 15, 1928, in Eudora, Ark., to the late Gus and Nona (Knight) Brady. He was the loving husband of 51 years to the late Betty (Woolley) Brady. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps in WWII and U.S. Army during Korean Conflict. He received his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Arkansas, and his Ph.D. from Penn State University. He taught chemistry at the Rogers High School for many years, retiring in 1996. He was instrumental in the organization of what would become NWACC and taught in the chemistry program there until 2012. Homer was a charter member of the Rogers Adult Wellness Center. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rogers. Homer is survived by his children, Pamela Brady of Rogers and John Brady of Seoul, South Korea; sister, Ann Edwards of Memphis, Tenn. A funeral will be held on Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the Mausoleum in Rogers City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home, Stateroom.
