Elmer Franklin Salsman, 89, of Lowell died Dec. 18, 2013, in Lowell. He was born Nov. 7, 1924, to Franklin Elmer and Maggie Annis Marlin Salsman. He retired from Schmeding accounting department. He was a member of the Odd Fellow and a life member of the NRA. He is a registered genealogist in Washington, D.C. Elmer enjoyed helping people. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Salsman; one brother, Paul Salsman; two sisters, Mildred Salsman and Mable Davison. He is survived by son, Roger Bruce Salsman of Lowell; two daughters, Susan Elmore and husband, Tommy, of Lowell, and Charlene Salsman and Aaron Whittle of Salem, Ore.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
