Photo of Bonnie Wilkinson Heinrichs
Bonnie Wilkinson Heinrichs, formerly of Fayetteville, Arkansas, joined Bill, her beloved husband of 52 years, on December 13, 2013. Bonnie was born August 6, 1926 and was predeceased by her husband and two grandchildren, Cheryl and Scott Cortinez. She is survived by her daughters Tricia H. Spione, Mim Heinrichs, and Kay Cortinez, her grandchildren, Robert and Donna Cortinez, and Jon, Dougal, and Corrigan Neralich, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Fran Bohe and Opal Dalton, as well as her beloved canine companion, Angel. "Bonit," as she was affectionately known, moved to Little Rock three years ago to be closer to her extended family. She loved music & dancing, as well as fishing, skiing, camping, and traveling with Bill. She had great stories of growing up in a big family, singing on the radio as a child with her sister Fran, and working as "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII. She loved old things and filled her house with antiques, and when her house overflowed, she opened a store. Her appreciation for a beautiful home made her exceptionally successful at selling real estate, and she thrilled at helping people find just the right place to live. She was an active member of the Methodist church and always felt at home in her wonderful church family. A memorial service will be held in Fayetteville after the first of the year. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's Arkansas or to Flippo's Senior Social Center, 6002 Wilkinson , Johnson, Ark., which is located in the original Wilkinson family home. Arrangements by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas (501) 224-8300. Online guestbook: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/chenal.
