Tommy Lee Brashears

Tommy Lee Brashears, 71, of Saint Paul passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark. He was born on April 11, 1942, in Saint Paul, Ark., to Audley (Tince) and Celia Ann Thornsberry Brashears. Tommy married Shirley Ann Stewart and they celebrated 50 years on Nov. 15. He was a lifelong resident of Madison County and was retired from commercial construction. Tommy was an active member at Combs Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid football fan. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Jimilee Ward and Doris Miller; and a brother, Billy Charles Brashears. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Brashears; his daughter, Teresa Walker and husband, Stuart, of Sandpoint, Idaho; his sister, Christine Agostinelli of Bakersfield, Calif.; and two granddaughters, Brinlee Jessee and husband, Ethan, of Springdale, Ark., and Delia Walker of Sandpoint, Idaho. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville, Ark. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 2 p.m. at Brashears Funeral Chapel, with Brother Jim Clayton and Brother Calvin Stewart officiating. Burial will be at Brashears Cemetery, under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be Charles Burrell, Stuart Walker, Ethan Jessee, Ben Miller, Kyle Stewart and Mason Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Hawkins, Brian Stewart, Shannon Smith, Gary Bartholomew, Tony Brashears, Ronnie Miller, Andy Miller and Josh Miller.
