Lola Mae Joiner, 87, of Rogers, Ark., passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at Apple Blossom in Rogers. She was born Oct. 12, 1926, in Tulia, Texas, to Tommy Edwin Foster and Meda Arnold Foster. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi, Eta Masters Chapter. She was a bookkeeper for the Bank of Bentonville and Farmers & Merchants Bank, and was a cashier for Cooper Communities for over 14 years. Always active in the local community, she served as a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital and Mercy Health Center. Lola was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Rogers for many years. She is survived by one son, Gary Joiner and wife, Claudia, of Tampa, Fla.; and one grandson, Charles Foster Joiner of Tampa, Fla. Burial will be at a later date at Benton County Memorial Park Columbarium. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 3364 W.
