LeVurn O Sprouse

LeVurn O. Sprouse, 89, of Springdale, died Dec. 7, 2013, at Springdale Health & Rehab. She was born July 12, 1924, at Limestone, Ark., to Ves and Flora Ann Owen Reynolds. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fayetteville. She also was homemaker and part owner of Sprouse Upholstery. She was preceded in death by one son, David Sprouse, and brother, Leon Reynolds. She is survived by her husband, Gene Sprouse of the home to whom she was married to for 67 years. One son, Doug Sprouse and wife, Sandy, of Springdale; two daughters, Retta Courdin and husband, Mark, of Springdale and Gina Stringer and husband, Denny, of Marionville, Mo.; two sisters, Lucille Frizzell of Fort Smith and Billie Neisler of Greenwood; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with Charlie Foster officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery.
