Aleta Faye McGee

Aleta Faye (Rounds) McGee, 81, of Bentonville died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Ashley Health & Rehab in Rogers. She was born Dec. 19, 1931, in Garfield to Cecil Loyd McGinnis and Leora Fay Byler McGinnis. She worked at Hudson Foods as an accounting supervisor before retiring. Aleta loved music and played several instruments. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, and was a wonderful cook. She was a member of Bentonville Church of Christ; and is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Marie Smith; and a granddaughter, Felicia Rounds. She is survived by her loving husband, Virgil McGee; two sons, Glen Eugene Rounds and wife, Melinda, of Garfield, and Bradley Allen McGee and wife, Jill, of Bella Vista; one daughter, Kathy Jean Powers and husband, John, of New Orleans, La.; five grandchildren, Seph, Melissa, Beau, Lyndsay, Lauren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shelby Prim of Garfield and Evelyn Lynch of Tahlequah, Okla.; one brother, Marvin McGinnis of Garfield. Visitation is set for Tuesday, Dec. 10, noon to 1 p.m., with service following at 1:30 p.m. at Bentonville Church of Christ, with Dr. Derrick Lynch officiating.
