David E. Wilks, 49, died at his home. He was born on Aug. 9, 1964, in Rogers, to the late Howard E. Wilks (2006) and Georgia Mae (Smith) Wilks. David had a passion for white water kayaking, being outdoors, camping, fishing, and riding his dirt bike. David, his dad, Howard Wilks and Uncle J.B. Head spent many hours hunting quail, pheasants and doves. He also loved hiking with his beloved dogs Key and Catfish. Gracie Mae, his daughter meant the world to him. He loved spending time with her. He was much loved by all of his family. He will be missed every day, and never forgotten. He is survived by his mother of Rogers; daughter, Gracie Gnade Wilks; sisters, Vicki and John Wells of Rogers, Cindy and Milton Craig of Fayetteville, Lisa and Roger Bridges of Texas, Tina and John Snyder of Rogers and honorary sister, Charla White of Rogers; and many nieces and nephews.
