Ruby Arlene Bryant

Ruby Arlene Bryant, 77, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Aug. 28, 2013, in Bentonville. She was born Nov. 6, 1935, in Cheyenne, Wyo., the daughter of Harley and Julia Kohn Swayne. She was a former apartment manager in Bakersfield, Calif. Ruby graduated from Bakersfield High School and a member of the Salvation Army in both Rogers and Bakersfield. Preceded in death by her husband, John Bryant. Survived by three children, Tony Phares and Tambra Lynn Melvin, both of West Plaines, Mo., and Kimbrela Reyes of Rogers; three brothers, Tom, Artie, Keith; one sister, Elizabeth Swayne; and six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
