LTC Billy Jack Mayes

LTC Billy Jack Mayes, U.S. Army (Ret.) of Springdale, Ark., died Aug. 12, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Weltha Mayes; brother, Phillip; and his daughter, Gabriele Luebke. He is survived by his wife, Valerie; son, Mark; brother, James; and sister, Linda Hamilton. He was a Vietnam War veteran. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America.
