Kenneth Wayne Ralston

Kenneth Wayne Ralston, 81, of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, in Bella Vista. He was born Nov. 8, 1931, in Carthage, Mo., to Clyde Arthur Ralston and Mary Jesse Melugin Ralston. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a Master Mason, member of the Scottish Rite and former member of Abou Ben Adhen. He was also a member of the Jaycees. Ken loved carpentry, hunting and fishing and enjoyed traveling. He was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Sandra Wiles; and one sister, Dorothy Marshall. Ken is survived by his wife of 22 years, Barbara Knost Ralston; three daughters, Debbie Groseclose and husband, Richard, of Lake St. Louis, Mo., Tracy Van Ryn and husband, David, of Neosho, Mo., Jeanne Cobaugh and husband, Jerry Jr., of Carthage, Mo.; two stepsons, Tony McCreary and wife Candy, of Amarillo, Texas, Jeff McCreary and wife Terry, of Bradenton, Fla.; one sister, Janice Griffith and husband, Robert, of Diamond, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers. Burial will be at 10 a.m., Aug. 20, 2013, at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville with military honors. Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Rogers with Rev. Zach Underwood officiating. Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 1801 South Dixieland, Rogers, Ark., 72758.
