Donny Andrew Wever

Donny Andrew Wever, age 73, of Avoca passed away on Aug. 4, 2013, in Avoca. He was born Sept. 12, 1939, in Beatrice, Neb., to the late James Irl and Ellen Crawshaw Wever. He was a retired shoe repairman and a servant of the Lord. He was dedicated foster parent of many children. He attended Radiant Life Church in Bentonville and Saving Grace Church in Rogers. Survivors include two sons, Jerry Wever and his wife, Traci, of Garfield, Jeff Wever and his wife, Patti, of Garfield; one daughter, Velma Moore and her husband, Coy, of Springdale; two sisters, Beth Steele of Ventura, Calif., Margaret Holmes of Jackson, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Ann Wever. Funeral service will be private. Donations may be made to Hope Cancer Research or to the Benton County Women's Shelter. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
