Jean Morelock Lollar

Jean Morelock Lollar went to be with her Lord on Friday, July 26, 2013. Jean was born Dec. 1, 1926 in Prairie Grove, Ark. to Raymond Morelock and Verle (Day) Morelock. She was an Army officer's wife and traveled across the country with her family for her husband's various assignments. She later started her career as a nurse and worked for years in San Antonio, Texas for the Baptist Hospital System and later she worked independent nursing engagements. Jean enjoyed traveling, golf and her beloved San Antonio Spurs. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Norma (Morelock) Reynolds; and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Lollar. She is survived by brothers, Carl Todd Morelock (Noni) and E.T. "Boots" Morelock (Pat) of Prairie Grove, Ark.; son, Tom Roberts (Sharon) of Prairie Grove, Ark.; daughter, Linda Hunter (Billy) of Moro Bay, Calif.; son, Jerry Bo Lollar of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Chad Morelock, Stephen Vance, Christen Vance, Shannon Lollar and Kyle Lollar. Memorial Service, Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, 1 p.m., St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 1416 N. LOOP 1604 E. The Rev. Beth Wyndham will officiate.
