Elizabeth Sylvia Baley

Elizabeth Sylvia "Liz" Baley, 44, of Cane Hill, Ark., died July 29, 2013, at her home. She was born Aug. 18, 1968, in Springdale, Ark. She was a certified nursing assistant and a member of the Sonora Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers, David Walker and Jason Walker; and her grandfather, Carl D. Barnes. She was part of a close family and loved her grandchildren, gardening and helping people. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Cody and Melissa Gabbard of Siloam Springs, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Edward Everett of Cane Hill, Ark.; her mother, Sandy Walker of Cane Hill, Ark.; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Kevin and Linda Walker of Brunswick, Ga., Ronnie and Shirley Walker of Springdale, Ark., and Mike Walker of Ozark, Ark.; one grandson, Glenn Harper of Cane Hill, Ark.; one granddaughter, Emily Harper of Cane Hill, Ark.; her grandmother, Mae Bradshaw of Cane Hill, Ark.; and a special friend, Chris Creecy of Cane Hill, Ark. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home, with the Rev. Glen Faulkner officiating. Interment will be in the Ganderville Cemetery near Summers, Ark., under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be Chris Creecy, William Howell, Kendall Walker, Danny Walker, John Little and Luke Beiber. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Brashears.
