Virginia Elizabeth Walker

Virginia Elizabeth Walker, 94, of Springdale died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born April 18, 1919, in Robinson, Ark., to J.O. and Etta Virginia Bruner Wilson. Virginia was a school teacher and bookkeeper and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Springdale. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and visiting with friends at the donut shop. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Walker; one brother, Woodrow Wilson; two sisters, Ada Wilson and Billie Littrell. Survivors include a daughter, Louetta Sumerwell and husband, Bill, of Springdale; one brother, Bobby G. Wilson and wife, Dorothy, of Greenland; two grandchildren, Ken Sumerwell of Springdale, and Cheli Clark and husband, Cleve, of Rogers; one great-grandchild, Will Clark; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale.
