Samantha Jo Harris, 30, of Rogers died April 15, 2013, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo. She was born March 25, 1983, in Rogers to Gerald Eugene Harris and Pamela Jo Lyons Harris. She was a payroll clerk at Wal-Mart and a manager at Texaco in Rogers. She enjoyed fishing, camping, swimming, being outdoors, fashion, and doing her hair and nails with her daughter. She enjoyed watching Golden Girls on TV. She was a perfectionist, and at the age of 2 or 3 she dressed herself for the first time in overalls and a T-shirt to work with her dad. She drove a truck and backhoe and worked with her dad for several years. She was a perfectionist and made sure everything she touched was done to her satisfaction. She attended Southside Church of Christ; and is preceded in death by one brother, Jason Harris; maternal grandfather, Bill Lyons; and paternal grandfather, Ralph Harris. Survivors are a daughter, Kyler Jo Gregory of Rogers; her parents, Gerald and Pam Harris of Rogers; one sister, Charli Beth Evans and husband, Carl, of Rogers; maternal grandmother, Pauline McGaugh, and maternal step-grandfather, Gene McGaugh of Rogers; paternal grandmother, Reba Harris of Rogers; two nephews, Caleb and Cole Evans of Rogers; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Casket bearers are Caleb Evans, Ryan Miles, Galen Harris, Steven Lyons, Scottie Lyons, Eric Pike, Kevin Harris. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Harris, Cole Evans, Craig Harris, Cory Harris and Casey Harris. Graveside service is set for 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at Twelve Corners Cemetery in Garfield, with Jackie Chestnut officiating. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
