Rosalee Merle Hays Ivins

Rosalee Merle Hays Ivins, 80, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, April 19, 2013, in Fayetteville. She was born Dec. 22, 1932, in Geary, Okla., the daughter of Merle Wilford and Ethel Agnes Droomgool Hays. She was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church and retired Registered Nurse for St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Randall Lee Ivins; her daughter, Iris Deane Ivins and one brother, Manning Hays. Survivors include two sons, Gary Lee Ivins and wife, Delora of Texarkana, Ark., and Larry Wayne Ivins and wife, Carol of Stow, Ohio; one daughter, Rosemary Rogers and husband, Michael of Fayetteville; five brothers, Virgil Hays of Lexington, Ky., Jack Hays of Broken Arrow, Okla., Robert Hays of Simms, Ala., Leonard Hays of Las Cruces, N.M., and Ronnie Hays of College Station, Texas; two sisters, Oletha Nabors of Memphis, Tenn., and Edwina Moon of Yukon, Okla.; six grandchildren, Brian, Christina, Lisa Marie, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Louis and Rachel; four great-grandchildren, Chase, Connor, Jacob and Madison. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Ridgeview Baptist Church in Fayetteville with Pastor Charlie Brown and Larry Wayne Ivins officiating. Burial will be in Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at Beard's Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to Ridgeview Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
