Ella J. Jones

Ella J. Jones, 84, of Rogers, Ark., formerly of Arma, Kan., died on April 6, 2013, at the Ashley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Rogers. She was born April 27, 1928, in Heavener, Okla., the daughter of Walter Overton Elliff Sr. and Sarah (Routh) Elliff. She attended area schools and graduated from Pittsburg High School with the Class of 1946. On July 11, 1974, she was united in marriage to Donald Lee Jones; he preceded her in death in October of 1995. She was a nurse's aide at local hospitals and nursing homes for 44 years. Survivors include two daughters, Lesa Schuler and husband, David, of Centerton, Ark., Mona Koroush of Oak Grove, Mo.; a son, Jody Koroush and wife, Becky, of Duenweg, Mo.; a sister, Mona Louise Williams of Peachtree, Ga.; along with 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, W.O. Elliff Jr.; and a grandson, Patrick Cawthon. Memorial services were held at Highland Park Cemetery.
