Jonathan Scott Foster Carte, 30, of Ozark passed away April 5, 2013. He was born February 18, 1983, in Fayetteville to Johnny and Patricia Carte. Jonathan was a loving husband, wonderful father and beloved son. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Mona Carte and Jane Hill Stanley and Albert Larry Pritchard, and uncle, Thomas Albert Pritchard. Jonathan attended Paris High School and graduated from Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus with an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was part of the Iraq War. He is survived by his wife, Kasey Carte; sons, Logan Carte of Ozark and Shady Carte Hice of Paris; daughters, Americas Carte of Ozark and Peaches Carte Hice of Paris; brother, Larry Rives of Morrow; sisters, Tamela Taylor of Scranton and Jamie Dunaway of Searcy; nephews; and nieces. A visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th St. in Little Rock, with services being at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park, 2801 Asher Ave. in Little Rock. Pallbearers will be Dustin Core, Garrett Core, Kurt Taylor, Nathan Puckett, Randy Carte and Thorn Griffin. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Paul Taylor and other nephews and nieces, Jess Snowden and Andrew Powers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the Wounded Warrior Project.
