Odessa Lavinia Danford

Odessa Lavinia Danford, 89, of Springdale died Monday, April 15, 2013, in Springdale. She was born Jan. 15, 1924, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to Alex and Berneice Heird Jones. Odessa retired from the Springdale School System and was a member of Robinson Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Danford. Survivors include one son, Daniel Danford and wife, JoAnne of Tontitown; one daughter, Dusti Murphy of Tontitown; one sister, Beatrice Carter of Bellflower, Calif.; and one grandchild, Jamie Danford and husband, David Veach. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
