Kenneth Patrick Elliott

Kenneth Patrick Elliott, age 83, of Rogers died April 13, 2013, at Windcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation in Springdale. He was born in Wilburton, Kan., on March 31, 1930, to the late Kenneth and Juanita (Turner) Elliott. He was a 1948 graduate of Baxter Springs High School in Baxter Springs, Kan. On Jan. 28, 1951, he married Lena Crawford in Eureka Springs, and they were married 62 years at the time of his death. After a tour of duty in the U.S. Army in Korea, he returned and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He served in various capacities as a mechanical engineer, but also worked in investments and was co-owner of several radio stations. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lena "Lea" Elliott of the home; a daughter, Anna Catherine Paras and husband, Ricardo, of Pleasanton, Calif.; a brother, Michael Theodore Elliott of Hot Springs; and two grandchildren, Constantine Alexander Paras and Victoria Simone Paras, both of California. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Graveside services will be held at noon on Thursday at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
