James Ellis Sugg

James Ellis Sugg, 70, of Springdale, died Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Nov. 24, 1942, in West Point, Miss., to Harry C and Mary Riley Sugg. James was a retired Food Inspector for the U.S.D.A. He was a 32nd-degree Mason and Shriner. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fayetteville. He enjoyed woodworking, mission work and beekeeping. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Sugg, of the home; one son, James Ellis Sugg Jr. and wife, Julie, of Tulsa, Okla.; one daughter, Melissa Bradley and husband, Jon, of Baton Rouge, La.; one brother, Harry Sugg of Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, Joan Cash of Jonesboro, Ark.; two grandchildren, Riley Sugg and T.J. Bradley. Funeral services will be Monday, April 15, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Fayetteville at the corner of Dickson Street and College Avenue. Dr. Douglas Faulkner will officiate. A visitation will precede the funeral from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Graveside services will be at the New Hope Cemetery near Amory, Miss., on Wednesday, April 17, at 10 a.m. under the direction of E.E.
