Claude Franklin "Frank" Thompson, 72 of Rogers passed away April 13, 2013, in Bentonville. Frank was born Sept. 20, 1940, in Moore, Okla., the son of George Oscar and Martha Maxine Pierce Thompson. He retired as a Supervisor for Emerson Electric and later worked at Technical Machine Shop in Rogers for a short time. He served in the United States Army in communications. Preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Georgia Hopkins and one brother, Oscar Thompson. Survived by his wife, Joyce Smith Thompson; children, Robert Chasteen and wife, Tena, of Rogers, Randall Chasteen and wife, Dana, of Garfield and Tawnya Cooper and husband, John, of Bentonville; sisters, Frances Carol Edwards of West Fork, Debbie Eversole of Gentry; brothers, Larry Thompson of Rogers, Jimmie Thompson of Eudora, Kan., Richard Thompson of Allen, Texas, and Monty Thompson of Rogers; grandchildren, Ashleigh & Hunter Chasteen, Brittney Glupney, Nicholas Amburgey, Nicole Amburgey, John Cooper, Cameron Ott and Justin Reh; great-grandchildren, Madison Burns, Jackson, Jonah and Brooklyn Glupney. Visitation will be Tuesday; April 16, 2013, from 12:30 to 1:30 with services at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Benton County Funeral, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers, with Chaplain John Pate officiating.
