Albert Raymond Reed

Albert Raymond Reed, 69, a resident of Lincoln, passed away April 13, 2013, at his home. He was born March 12, 1944, in Lincoln, the son of Frank and Sylvada Mae Linn Reed. Albert served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a 32-nd degree Scottish Rite Master Mason and a member of the Lincoln Lodge 615 and a member of the Shriners Albert got to travel and see Canada and most every state, including Alaska, working as a pipefitter/welder out of Muskgoee, Okla., local 351 for 22 years. He really enjoyed meeting so many people during his travels. He was a very diverse - unique man with a heart of gold and would do anything to help anyone in need. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing his guitar and dancing. He loved to talk and laugh. There was never a dull moment. He loved animals, children and his friends and family, including his extended family all over the country. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donnie Wayne Reed; and two sisters, Wanda Torres and Mary Jane Mitchell. Survivors include his wife, Denise Reed of the home; two sons, Thomas Kelley of Lincoln, Ark., and Christopher Reed of Odessa, Texas; one daughter, Bethene West of Prairie Grove, Ark.; four brothers, Frank Reed of Stephensville, Texas, Bob Reed of West Fork, Ark., Billy Reed of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Carlos Reed of Greenland, Ark.; two sisters, Erma Myatt of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Alice Bouquet of Tahlequah, Okla.; four grandchildren, Ashley Shannon, Ronnie Hale, Ethan Kelley and Maycie Kelley; two great-grandchildren, Cameron Shannon and Katie Shannon; and a countless multitude of friends, family and extended family and his three little dogs, Bitty, WooWoo and Pisser. Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2013 - 2 p.m. at Prairie Oaks Baptist Church in Prairie Grove. Graveside services with Masonic Rites and Military Honors to follow at Beaty Cemetery in Lincoln, Ark.
